Canada’s frontline workers put themselves at risk to help us all get through this pandemic. Yet their jobs are often precarious, low-wage, and without benefits.

We need a Canadian plan that prepares us for the future.

People in Canada are anxious about work, education, and child care right now. How do you go back to work when you’re worried about leaving your kids at school? How do we remove the barriers keeping women from joining the workforce without a plan for child care? It’s time to fix what’s been broken for too long. It is up to us to make sure we reject calls for cuts, demand a credible plan to rev up our local economies and move forward together.

With over two million jobs lost, we need a shovel-ready plan to replace those jobs with better ones.

We need the Canadian government to help kick-start local economies by investing in public infrastructure, public services, and a made-in-Canada procurement strategy.

Canada’s workforce is changing. As the workforce ages a lower percentage of workers will participate in the labour market, and the number of new workers joining the workforce is slowing.

We also know more than one in ten Canadian youth are not working, studying, or training, and tend to have lower income and educational attainment.

Combine all that with a pandemic and economic downturn – things are not looking good, but we can fix this. The government needs to step in to help ensure prosperity for all.

Our Canadian plan will take us forward together.

Take Action

We have one chance to get this recovery right. A Canadian plan that keeps us safe and replaces lost jobs with better ones.

Our planet is burning.
